Fresh Wheels Refrigeration | Website Design
BJ Creative was tasked by Amy Roberts to build a website for her mobile refrigeration firm. They wanted to hire out their trailers for use at weddings, parties, and other large events. They pride themselves on providing the trailers already chilled so that contents can be placed straight inside ready to start.
This was a new business starting from scratch, so wording on the site was important to make the most of every word for ranking.
Web Design
We were provided with a logo which started the web design process very quickly. The selling point was very clear, but information on what the hire included and visuallising the hire equipment were important to customers. To this end we included photos of the actual trailers to ensure that people could have a gauge for size, as well as listing the physical dimensions. The other important point for the client and to engage users was to have very clear pricing that did not involve people having to go through a guess-work quote to get a simple idea of the cost. As a latter addition, they asked for the delivery radius to reflect slightly altered price.
Recommendations
The registering of the site and business on many local directories was an essential recommendation due to the new nature of the business. It is also an easy way of getting pictures of the trailers listed for people to see the branding through the Google Local portal.
By setting up this account, they can feed their reviews from Facebook and Google right in to their listing and also have the contact details and website url front and center when someone searches for this service.
The Build
We built the site using ASP.NET 4.0 and incorporated a contact page and used Master Pages throughout the site.
The site was initially hosted by BJ Creative on our server so that changes could be amended quickly at our end and this also then enabled us to managed the domains chosen for the website.
