Garden Render | Modelling Design

BJ Creative started the work for this garden render for another client, who is a landscape gardener. The scale of this project was so vast that our render was used to get the volumes of materials needed for each part of the garden. With accurate measurements taken at the start of the project, we could provide 100% accurate volumes and lengths to the client for the various stages. The house was created from the architects original drawings, so we had absolute faith in the numbers that we were providing. As the design evolved, we were able to update the design so that the client could see what was being suggested for each stage of the work.

Initial Concepts

Starting with a blank canvas on this idea meant that a lot of learning could be made. We worked on the layout and framework design before we started on the actual pieces to go in the render. Everything was driven on the project from the architects drawings for the house and then the outline of the garden. Once we knew these dimensions we could start to work with the gardener to suggest accurately where the borders could go, where the patio would extend to and where the sleeper layout would extend in to the garden.

One predefined idea in their head may not translate to the final artwork design, that they wish to use.
